Unlike most jig heads on the market, the Deeper weighs 450 g.
This allows you to troll a live or dead natural bait vertically, enabling the Vertical Trolling technique.

Shape
It is not round like most jig heads. It features a hydrodynamic shape specifically designed for trolling.
Its particular design allows it to “wag” in the water, giving the natural bait a lively movement instead of remaining static like a classic jig head that needs to be actively worked.

Use
Designed for Vertical Trolling, but also effective for:

  • classic vertical jig-head fishing (lift & drop, releases and jerks)

  • deep bottom fishing as a sinker with natural bait to target groupers, red snappers, scorpionfish and wreckfish

Project
It was born from the need for a heavier bait driver for trolling with squid/cuttlefish, which was missing on the market.
After testing weighted jig heads and confirming predators actively attack this type of presentation, production began.
Anglers already using Vertical Trolling with the Grouper can pair the Deeper on a second rod to target dentex, which are particularly attracted to these rigs.
