VERTICAL TROLLING GROUPER 300GR

The Grouper 300gr is a Bait Driver used for triggering octopus in Vertical Trolling for grouper fishing. The grouper is attracted to the octopus and the more you make it alive the more the attack can happen. The particular shape of the Grouper, made after numerous tests, is designed to be towed and not to be used vertically like simple lead balls. The ideal speed is 0.7 0.8 knots which allows the octopus to move with extreme naturalness as the head, thanks to the Grouper, does not rotate and remains stationary while the tentacles move. You can see this movement in the various videos on the net - This is the difference between any ball and the Grouper. Furthermore, its U shape allows it to be triggered even on small octopuses but with heavy Groupers (from 300 to 400gr). In fact, using the grouper as you do with a shoe horn we can put it in a small octopus (from 300 to 500gr are the ideal measures). After a few minutes of use, the octopus tends to stiffen and then enclose itself around the Grouper making the trigger firm and impossible to extract during the various ups and downs of the fishing phases. It is used for grouper fishing but you can often fish for snappers and all types of predators that attack octopus, including tuna. To get the best result it is necessary to use the "fresh" dead octopus, the frozen one drastically reduces the strikes as it tends to stiffen too easily, becoming not very sinuous and above all because the sight and smell are extremely different from a fresh octopus. Then use the Grouper with fresh and moving octopus (about 0.7 - 0.8 knots) in areas where it is assumed the presence of groupers and predators in general, the strikes will not fail.
