The new Caldia retains the qualities that have made it famous over the years and takes them to the next level: outstanding lightness, excellent build quality, and, last but not least, a sleek and elegant design. The body remains a monocoque in ZAION V, but all the technological innovations introduced by the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept have been implemented. Initially introduced in the top-of-the-line 22EXIST and gradually adopted in other series, the Caldia is now improved in the rotor, spool, bail, and line roller. The drag system has also evolved: the ATD-L provides an ultra-smooth response to the initial pull of the fish before gradually increasing resistance to control escapes effectively. The 5000-size models, a new addition to this series, feature a more powerful drag system: the ATD Tough with carbon discs, designed to handle larger fish more efficiently.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR

The new Airdrive rotor, made of ZAION V, has a more symmetrical and balanced design, specifically engineered to minimize weight and rotational inertia.

AIRDRIVE BAIL

A next-generation solid bail, ultra-light and super-durable. Its unique shape, combined with the new Twist Buster 3 roller, significantly improves line flow and reduces the risk of tangles during fishing.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL

A newly designed spool, lighter and optimized to maximize line release and prevent tangles during retrieval, thanks to its redesigned lower-edge profile.
