The new Caldia builds on the qualities that have made it famous over the years and takes them to the next level: exceptional lightness, outstanding build quality, and, last but not least, a sleek and elegant design. The body remains a one-piece monocoque made of ZAION V, but it now incorporates all the technological innovations brought by the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept. Introduced in the flagship 22EXIST and gradually adopted across other series, the Caldia has now been enhanced in the rotor, spool, bail, and line roller.

The drag system has also been improved: the ATD-L provides a silky-smooth response when absorbing the fish’s initial pull, then gradually firms up to control strong runs effectively. The 5000 versions, new sizes for this series, feature a drag system focused on power: the ATD Tough with carbon discs, designed to handle larger, more challenging fish.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR

The new Airdrive rotor, made of ZAION V, features a more symmetrical and balanced design, specifically crafted to minimize weight and rotational inertia.

AIRDRIVE BAIL

A next-generation solid bail, ultra-light and extremely durable. Its unique shape, combined with the new Twist Buster 3 line roller, significantly enhances line flow and drastically reduces the risk of tangles while fishing.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL

A newly designed, lightweight spool optimized for smoother line release and tangle prevention during retrieval, thanks to its re-engineered lower lip profile.
