The Basia surf 45 scw qd-r was designed and built in Japan with the most advanced Daiwa technologies: a high-performance surf-casting reel with exceptional build quality.

The body is made of Zaion, the Daiwa patented carbon-based super-material: it combines extreme strength and rigidity with a lightness unattainable for any reel with a metal body.

The equipment of the Basia surf 45 scw qd-r is very rich: it is in fact supplied as standard with 3 spools, 2 of which are of the shallow type with reduced capacity, to allow the use of lines with a reduced diameter.

The Slow Cross Wrap technology with slow spooling guarantees an optimal collection of the line, but it is also a valid aid for reaching greater casting distances, improving the exit from the spool during the casting phase.
