The Aero Technium MgS is the latest addition to Shimano's Big Pit series. It is a unique reel of its kind, which incorporates all the latest and most advanced Shimano technologies; in particular it is a real throwing machine. The feature list of this reel is remarkable: every element of Shimano technology available has been used. A Hagane body, magnesium frame makes it incredibly light yet extremely strong. Hagane (cold forged) Gear for maximum strength, Infinity drive and Silent drive for greater winding power, smoothness and durability and a one-piece titanium bailband to always guide the line to the reel and maximize bailband strength. The most notable feature is a 45 mm spool with Super Slow 10 spooling system which performs 107 line turns per oscillation to obtain a practically perfect cast, reaching a greater distance, with more precision; redesigned mechanics to be able to better manage and control all that power exerted during a cast. In one sentence: the best distance reel ever built.
