The AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept, inherited from Daiwa’s top-end reels and applied to the rotor and bail arm, makes the reel lighter and even more comfortable during fishing. The lighter yet stronger rotor and bail system provides smoother retrieves and improved lure control thanks to minimized rotational inertia.

The drag system is also completely renewed: the new ATD-L is the latest evolution of Daiwa’s automatic progressive drag system (ATD). It reacts even more smoothly and progressively, reducing mechanical stress on the line.
