The new Caldia retains the qualities that have made it famous over the years and takes them to the next level: great lightness, excellent build quality, and a sober and elegant style. The body is still a ZAION V monocoque, but it now features all the technological innovations of the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept.
Introduced on the top-of-the-line 22EXIST and gradually adopted across other series, the Caldia is now improved in the rotor, spool, bail, and line roller.
The drag system has also been upgraded: the ATD-L provides ultra-smooth resistance during the initial fish strikes and then stiffens appropriately to handle runs.
The 5000 models, new sizes for the series, are equipped with a more powerful drag system: the ATD Tough with carbon discs, designed to better tackle large catches.
