The new Caldia retains the qualities that have made it famous over the years and takes them to the next level: great lightness, excellent build quality, and, last but not least, a sleek and elegant style. The body remains a monocoque in ZAION V, but all the technological innovations introduced by the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept have been implemented. First introduced in the top-of-the-line 22EXIST and gradually adopted in other series, the Caldia is now improved in the rotor, spool, bail, and line roller.

The drag system has also been upgraded: the ATD-L is incredibly smooth when absorbing the initial pull of the fish and then gradually hardens to control its runs effectively. The 5000 versions, a new size for this series, feature a drag system designed for power: the ATD Tough with carbon discs, providing better resistance against large fish.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR

The new Airdrive rotor, made from ZAION V, has a more symmetrical and balanced design, built to minimize weight and rotation inertia.

AIRDRIVE BAIL

A next-generation solid bail, super lightweight and ultra-durable. Its unique shape, combined with the new Twist Buster 3 line roller, enhances line flow and significantly reduces the risk of tangles.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL

A newly designed, lightweight spool optimized to maximize line release and prevent tangles during retrieval, thanks to its redesigned lower edge profile.
