The new Caldia retains the qualities that have made it famous over the years and takes them to the next level: exceptional lightness, high-quality construction, and, last but not least, a sleek and elegant style. The body remains a monocoque made of ZAION V, but it now incorporates all the technological innovations introduced by the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept. First introduced in the top-of-the-line 22EXIST and gradually adopted across other series, the Caldia has now been improved in its rotor, spool, bail, and line roller.

The drag system has also been upgraded: the ATD-L drag is incredibly smooth when absorbing the fish’s initial pull, then stiffens up to effectively control its escape attempts. The 5000-size versions, a new addition to this series, feature a drag system more focused on power: an ATD Tough with carbon discs, designed to handle larger and stronger fish more effectively.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR

The new AIRDRIVE rotor, made from ZAION V, features a more symmetrical and balanced design, engineered to minimize weight and rotational inertia.

AIRDRIVE BAIL

A next-generation solid bail, ultra-lightweight and highly resistant. Its special shape, combined with the new Twist Buster 3 line roller, enhances line smoothness and significantly reduces the risk of tangles during fishing.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL

A newly designed, lightweight spool that maximizes line release and prevents tangling during retrieval, thanks to a redesigned lower lip profile.
