The new Caldia retains the features that have made it famous over the years and takes them to the next level: exceptional lightness, outstanding build quality, and a sleek, elegant design. The body remains a ZAION V monocoque, but all the technological innovations derived from the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept have been introduced. First introduced in the top-of-the-line 22EXIST model and gradually adopted in other series, the Caldia now improves in the rotor, spool, bail, and line roller.

The drag system has also been enhanced: the ATD-L system is extremely smooth to cushion the initial runs of the fish and then progressively tightens to control its movements effectively. The 5000 versions, a new size for this series, incorporate a more power-oriented drag: the ATD Tough with carbon discs, designed to handle larger catches more effectively.

The new ZAION V Airdrive rotor has a more symmetrical and balanced design, created to minimize weight and rotational inertia.

AIRDRIVE BAIL

A next-generation, ultra-light, and durable bail. Its special shape, combined with the new Twist Buster 3 roller, significantly improves line fluidity and reduces the risk of tangles during fishing.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL

A new-generation spool, lighter and redesigned to maximize line release and prevent tangles during retrieval, thanks to its newly designed lower edge.
