SHIMANO ZODIAS CASTING FAST 218CM 7'2'' 12-42GR (2)

The highly popular Zodias is part of the exclusive Shimano JDM range and combines advanced design, fast actions, and cutting-edge carbon processing technology with a mid-range price. This visually impressive series opens up many possibilities for the lure angler. Designed and developed in Japan, you will immediately recognize how well the Zodias is suited for European predator fishing. Lightweight and wonderfully balanced in hand, the inclusion of Shimano's exclusive Monocoque handle enhances feel and responsiveness, transmitting every bite and movement directly to your hand. However, when a fish is hooked, the hidden power really comes into play, offering control and strength in equal measure.
Shimano's Hi-Power X technology is at the core of the Zodias rods and increases energy transfer through the rod for greater casting accuracy and distance while reducing blank twist for better control when fighting fish. The inclusion of a carbon Monocoque rear grip and a custom-designed CI4+ reel seat enhances sensitivity, providing impressive feedback during use. Fuji guides add further quality to this high-performance range. The ULS2 model features a TAFTEC ALPHA carbon tip for extreme sensitivity. From the lightest Ultra Light Spinning models, perfect for Drop Shot fishing and light lures, to Heavy action Casting models designed for heavy shads, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits, there are 7 Spinning models and 6 Casting models to cover all your fishing needs.
