The new generation of Emeraldas X marks a major step forward in the evolution of Daiwa’s eging series. More elegant and modern thanks to a renewed design, it offers new, even more technical and versatile actions, ideal for tackling any squid fishing situation.

A standout innovation in the range is the introduction of solid tip models (“-S” versions), featuring the MegaTop tip that ensures unprecedented sensitivity. Perfect for detecting the slightest vibrations on sandy bottoms or in refined techniques, it provides maximum control and reduces missed hook-ups.

The high-quality HVF carbon blank is reinforced with Braiding-X technology, which weaves fibers at 45° to minimize torsion and increase strength without adding weight. Completing the setup is the new Air Sensor reel seat—ultra-light and designed to enhance vibration transmission directly to the angler’s hand, elevating overall sensitivity.

• 9L-S “Small Egi Special”: Ultra-light rod designed for small egi on sandy bottoms and harbor areas. Its ultra-sensitive solid tip allows detection of the slightest touch and reduces hook losses thanks to its flexibility. Compact and precise, it ensures excellent handling and control with small egi up to size 1.2. Versatile and multipurpose—it can also be used for Light Rock Fishing. Two souls in one rod.

• 83ML: Ideal for the autumn season, excellent for covering wide areas in run & gun style fishing with egi from 1.8 to 3.5.

• 83M: All-round model for year-round use, balanced for 3.0–3.5 egi, reliable across a wide range of situations.

• 84ML-S “Versatile Seppia Special”: Solid tip model designed specifically for cuttlefish on sandy bottoms. Highly sensitive and versatile, it handles egi starting from size 1.8 with great precision.
