The Cayman is a stand up rod made with new carbon-reinforced microfiber blanks, entirely computer-designed with exclusive Italcanna proprietary software, and subsequently tested for 5 months at sea to reach the best compromises.

Each barrel is not born by cutting more or less another, but has been individually created and developed for that book, to offer the best. Only in this way can the stem really help in the fishing action. In fact, multi-range drums such as 30/50 Lbs are normally calibrated on an intermediate route (in the case indicated on 40 lbs) where they obviously offer the maximum but lose by deviating from this measure (in fact they are loaded little by lines of 30 lbs and too much with 50 lbs lines). This is why the Cayman has a single load capacity, and compared to traditional drums it has the following advantages: - Greater traction on the fish (which will tire sooner) allowing them to recover in a shorter time, particularly useful in competitions. - It reduces the effort by the fisherman at the height of the handle by 10-15% thanks to a new distribution of materials that load the element in a different way. To understand the forces at play just think that on a 30 Lbs rod. the effort made in the hand by the fisherman varies from 15 to 25 Kg. (with nominal load) - 190 cm long. to facilitate the management of the line and distance it from rudders or propellers in case of need, especially in the final phase of the fight. A short version of 165 cm is also produced. to further facilitate recovery. Supplied as standard with a short anodized aluminum handle (stand Up type), and as an option, long handles (for use in a chair) or curved handles can be requested. Particular attention has been paid to the graphics enriched by a Greek laser holographic effect
