One of the most appreciated Daiwa reels of all time is radically renewed, setting a new quality standard that further improves its value for money. The innovations affecting the main structural and mechanical elements of the 23 Ninja make it lighter, smoother, and more precise in operation, offering mechanical features previously exclusive to much more expensive models.

The body has been redesigned with new materials (DS4 composite with a new blend) for greater rigidity and lightness, while the rotor and bail are of the AIRDRIVE type, a construction concept borrowed from the high-end Exist model.

The rotor has been completely redesigned to minimize weight while improving resistance to stress: the result is an incredibly smoother and more regular rotation, with reduced inertia. The AIRDRIVE bail is also entirely new: in addition to being lighter, its special shape, combined with the new Twistbuster III line roller, is designed to eliminate the possibility of tangles even when the line has low tension.

Another breakthrough is the ATD-L drag: an evolution of the famous Daiwa automatic progressive drag, now even smoother and more progressive, making fish retrieval safer and more effective.
