The Saltiga G is the evolution of Daiwa's renowned series of reels made in Japan, specifically designed for Big Game saltwater fishing.

Large pelagic predators demand reels that provide ample power reserves during retrieval while remaining extremely robust to withstand the intense strain they endure.

For this reason, the new Saltiga G is built with a Monocoque Body frame entirely in aluminum, further optimized to house larger gears than before. The rotor, with its exclusive Air Rotor design, is also constructed entirely from aluminum.

To protect the internal mechanics from water, salt, and debris, Magsealed technology has been extensively employed. This technology, used by NASA in space conduits, is based on a membrane of magnetized oil and in the Saltiga G protects both the body and, through two special bearings, the main gear.

The new Saltiga G boasts significantly improved finishes in both aesthetics and functionality, thanks to a new paint system that enhances resistance to saltwater corrosion and wear.
