Emeraldas Air is the first reel of the Emeraldas family, the Daiwa brand dedicated to cephalopod fishing, to marry the Monocoque Body technology.
The body built in ZAION makes it not only incredibly light but also extremely stiff. The choice of ZAION also for the construction of the rotor allows for a considerable reduction in its weight, generating less inertia and thus giving greater rotation fluidity compared to
previous models. The 2500 model, with a single 50 mm throttle, is the lightest in the history of Eging; in fact, it weighs only 160gr. It is also equipped with a Finesse Custom clutch with a maximum drag of 5Kg.

The Model LT2500-XH on the other hand is equipped with a slightly longer single throttle, 55 mm, to compensate for the higher recovery ratio
