Lure specifically designed for catching octopuses. It is a squid trap with barbless hooks facing upwards which therefore avoid snagging on the bottom. In fact, to catch octopuses you have to let the bait slide along the bottom. The bait has a hook under the head where a lead is positioned which keeps the tail raised during the "crawl".
