Concept and Design

It is the smallest example of the Mommotti series and the sinuous swimming, which distinguishes the larger models, seems to find a perfect realization with its small size. The MMT 115 SF, however, has an “extra gear” thanks to an internal construction detail that the other models of the series do not have and which we have called Dynamic Center of Gravity or DCG (Dynamic Center of Gravity).
With its 115 mm and a weight of 12 g it is the lightest model of the series and is a very good lure for all small and medium sized sea and freshwater predators, but it is certainly perfect for sea bass.

What is the Dynamic Center of Gravity (D.C.G.)?

The DCG is an internal system, called Dynamic Center of Gravity, in acronym D.C.G. (Dynamic Center of Gravity), which basically allows the Mommotti 115 SF to jerk more accentuated than usual. In practice with the DCG the internal movable spheres, which are normally blocked in a very narrow space when the lure is swimming, are free to move in a greater space and their movement backwards during jerking creates greater instability of the lure. trim of the lure that in this way makes wider skids.
