Concept and Design
The main factors that characterize the model are two: the type of joint and the fan blade. The design decision to reduce the jointed part only to the rear third of the hull has a dual purpose: to create a much more natural and non-snakelike swim like typical swim baits and to minimize friction with the air during the launch thus overcoming the characteristic defect of the articulated which consists in having a normally reduced range. The fan-shaped headstock, which characterizes the buginu series, is probably its best in the bìu series (means "alive" in the Sardinian language) as it guarantees a tight and extremely natural movement with a very reduced roll component. The lip in this model has been deliberately undersized to further accentuate the naturalness of swimming and to allow for the widest customization. Even if the type of lure is mainly aimed at sea bass, the Buginu 105 bìu can also be used with great success in fresh water. The shape of the headstock has been filed as a “patent P”.
Action
Slow retrive: Light wobbling
Regular retrive: Wobbling & light rolling
Fast retrive: Wide wobbling & rolling
Recovery "jerk" (Jerking): To stimulate the aggressiveness of the fish it is advisable to give strong accelerations with the rod in sequence
single or multiple, so as to force the lure to make wide skids. Intersperse the jerks with breaks and/or a variable recovery
